Kirstin Mills is an Australian artist, writer, designer and generally curious person. Her inquisitive mind has led her into many interesting walks of life and she now mostly divides her energies between researching and writing for her PhD thesis in nineteenth-century fantasy literature, painting and creating her artworks of fantasy and mythical themes, and designing creative and unique products for her several small businesses, including her own art and gifts online store, and the unique Fairy Inspirations relaxation music CD series, which features art by some of the world's best fantasy artists. Kirstin has been creating for as long as she can remember and is particularly inspired by the beautiful natural Australian environment that she grew up in, as well as the celtic and British myths and tales she grew up reading. Seeing life itself as the greatest story, Kirstin aims to show in her art the presence of magic all around us; even where we would last think to look.
