 Completed: 2006 Medium:Acrylics on Watercolour paper Size:A3 (~12 x 17" , 29 x 40cm) The standing stones are a gateway between myth and reality... in this case historical reality. The Sentinel is loosely based on Cernnunus, the Horned God, though it's my own interpretation. The Sentinel is a forest guardian and can be summoned only by one with the blood of the Tuatha De Danann.... whether they know it or not. |
